![]() Unlike many of the other decisions made recently (the move to Electron, deprecating local vaults, and elimination of stand-alone licenses in 1Password 8), the removal of the share sheet seems really arbitrary, and honestly comes across as a big FU to many of your iOS users. The frustration, and even anger that AgileBits is experiencing from this decision should be very concerning to everyone working at 1Password. I also find the excuses, that the new extension is so much better, extremely disingenuous when the extension won’t work with local vaults, and is also not compatible with iOS 14 and below. That seems to be a pretty arrogant decision, as it is obvious that a lot of users (including myself) did use the share sheet quite often. u/dteare7 mentioned in another long winded post that he and most of the dev team haven’t used it in a while, so they didn’t really see it as important. ![]() ![]() I have yet to read a legitimate reason for the removal of the share sheet extension. ![]()
